Reflection
Life’s challenges: Everyone encounters challenges in life at some point. One of my
favorite pastors shared this thought “the battles we face on earth are the remnants of
those already fought in heaven.” Ponder on this. This verse reminds us that no matter
what challenges we face, God is always there to provide comfort, guidance, and
strength. In times of uncertainty or turmoil, we can find peace and refuge in His
unwavering presence and support.

Encourage
Comfort and Hope:
God is our refuge and strength. In his loving arms and presence, we can find comfort
and reassurance especially during tough times. We should learn to trust in God’s power
and presence because he gives us hope and confidence to face challenges and
overcome obstacles. Let us remind ourselves that God’s strength is made perfect in our
weakness. This is true when we rely on God’s strength and not our own.

Prayer

Dear Lord, thank you for being our refuge and strength in times of trouble. May we find
peace and comfort in Your ever-present help, trusting in Your power and love to guide
us through life’s challenges. Please give me wisdom and discernment to make
decisions that honor You and fill us with Your peace. Amen.
