I am a Nurse Practitioner with extensive clinical experience and a lifelong heart for compassion and service. While I’ve encountered loss in the past, my understanding of grief deepened profoundly when I became a widow two years ago. Navigating this journey revealed how isolating and overwhelming grief can be—and how much more support is truly needed beyond traditional models. This pivotal moment inspired me to create an empowerment-based model of support for widows, helping women navigate their loss with strength, hope, and community. I became certified in grief education and immediately got to work—channeling my pain into purpose. When I’m not working on my purpose, I’m a proud mom of three sons and enjoy an active, outdoor lifestyle on my own or with friends. I’m also actively involved in community service through my nursing sorority, continuing to uplift others through both compassion and connection.

I am a solo mother of two incredible young adults and a widow of four years. My journey has been one of profound loss, love, and rediscovery. As a registered nurse for 33 years, including 23 years in hospice care, I have dedicated my career to providing comfort and dignity during life's most delicate transitions. As a grief educator, I strive to help others navigate the complexities of loss, offering guidance, understanding, and hope.
Through this space, I hope to extend that same compassion and knowledge to fellow widows as they rebuild their lives. Loss changes us, but it does not define us—we honor the past, embrace the present, and step forward with hope.
Together, we can find strength in shared stories, support in community, and meaning in new beginnings.
